Park Avenue Chalet

Welcome

Featuring an all-wood interior and offering superb alpine ambiance, Park Avenue Chalet is your perfect Kiwi Escape! A charming 3 bedroom traditional ski chalet surrounded by park areas and fronting onto a picturesque lake with Mt Ruapehu in the background. The chalet is within walking distance to Ohakune town centre as well as the boundary of the Tongariro National Park, also referred to as the Junction.

Living area

There is plenty of room to relax in the open plan living area. The large sliding doors and bay window provide plenty of light and fresh air, and the built in wood burner provides comfort on those chilli evenings. The living area is furnished with two couches, a coffee table, ding table and a wall mounted LCD TV. Keep the kids entertained with the XBOX or watch your favourite DVD together!

Sleeping accommodation

Park Avenue Chalet provides accomodation for up to 8 guests. There is an oversized master bedroom situated on the upper level, fitted with a King size bed, couch and coffee table. The other 2 bedrooms are both located on the lower level, and are each fitted with a Queen size bed. If you do have extra guests there is a double sleeper couch in the living room and extra bedding is available if required.

Kitchen

Fully fitted with modern cooking appliances, utensils, cutlery and crockery, cooking your favourite meal couldn't be easier. The open plan environment allows for everyone to get involved in meal times.

Outdoors

For total relaxation, unwind out on your private deck, Complete with BBQ and Jacuzzi! The back garden leads to a small lake with views of Mt Ruapehu which is perfect for a sunrise or sunset stroll.

Laundry

Complete with a washer and a tumble dryer, the laundry room doubles as a fabulous drying and lock-up room where you can store your gear after a day on the mountain.
